Packet radio in the area is taking off. Myself, Frank (KI4PEP), Micheal (KG4SRH), Scott (AC5LT) and others have started messing around with packet on 2M. 1200 baud for now, but you never know. I have setup my home station to run AGW PE with a chat server and NETROM node. Others are running PBBS's. We hope to put up a full service BBS and a digi soon. Join us on 145.09. THere are plans to do a packet roundtable net on 145.09 after the PARC net on SUnday nights....~Steve>
