Well, tonight we had the first Okaloosa ARES meeting of 2006. It went well, lasting a little over 1 hour, with about 20 interested parties. Sean, our new EC layed the groundwork for the upcoming hurricane season and went over the high points of whats going to be happening. He touched briefly on a number of subjects such as EOC/Shelter Manning, Jump Teams, and NIMS certification. It was a productive meeting and some action items were handed out.
